Description
This solicitation seeks applicants to develop and test optimum data collection procedures for self-report data on rape and sexual assault. The focus of the work under this solicitation is to develop, implement, and test survey methods for providing estimates of rape and sexual assault, and to determine the feasibility of using these procedures in the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS) program. Applicants for funding under this announcement should provide a synopsis of their background in the field that documents their expertise with the issues, demonstrates that their firm has the infrastructure necessary to complete a large scale pilot test, and describes the administrative capabilities necessary to undertake a project of this scope. BJS anticipates making one award for a 30-month period under this solicitation under the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, Section 302.
