Minnesota Statistical Analysis Center

The State Justice Statistics (SJS) Program is designed to maintain and enhance each state's capacity to address criminal justice issues through collection and analysis of data. The SJS Program provides support to each state to coordinate and conduct statistical activities within the state, conduct research to estimate impacts of legislative and policy changes, and serve as a liaison in assisting BJS to gather data from respondent agencies within their states.

The Minnesota Statistical Analysis Center (MNSAC) will carry out the following activities: 1) conduct an assessment and statewide survey of programs designed to work with children exposed to violence to assess the level of knowledge of poly-victimization and determine training needs to address poly-victimization; 2) compile, analyze and publish a report on juvenile justice trends in the state covering the period 2000 to 2010; and 3) conduct a review of the recommendations of a state Juvenile Justice Decision Points Study by collaborating with key stakeholders and developing a formal action plan to carry out the recommendations.
