Abstract
For each State, the report presents a diagram of the court system and gives data on the court of last resort, or intermediate appellate court, and the court of general, limited, or special jurisdiction. 1978 State court caseload summary statistics, a technical discussion of estimation procedure, and sources of 1978 State court caseload statistics are provided.
