Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2022, $590,005)
The Executive Office of Utah will use FY22 NARIP funds for the second implementation of the Utah Prosecution Cas Management System. The eProsecutor is a cloud-based case management system developed by Journal Technologies, Inc. The eProsecutor is a robust case management program that tracks every aspect of a criminal case from case initiation through the appellate process. The system can generate criminal information, subpoenas, and all other legal documents and users work on the system through an annual user license lease. FY22 NARIP funding will renew the lease on its original 150 user licenses and an additional 150 user licenses so that jurisdictions that currently do not have a case management system or are using other systems, may join the community of prosecutor offices using eProsecutor. Activities for the one year project include: supporting the UPC's IT Director and eProsecutor Project Manager; supporting the lease of the current 150 eProsecutor user licenses with data storage fees; and supporting the leasing of an additional 150 eProsecutor use licenses and storage fees for new locations.
