South Carolina FY 2021 NARIP

South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is requesting funds to continue the progress made with the technical personnel assigned to administering and maintaining the electronic document management system (EDMS) in order to ensure that all mental health adjudication orders are entered into NICS Indices in the time specified by the S.C. Code of Laws. Additionally, SLED is requesting funding for enhancements to the current EDMS through an Internet Connector license and e-forms license. The Internet Connector license will allow for a digitally secure way for counties to upload documentation directly to the EDMS. The e-forms license will allow the forms to be created and filled out securely and then placed into the correct workflow. Both enhancements will improve the reporting process to allow for a more timely, accurately, and secure entry of records to the NICS Indices.
