Update on the National Crime Victimization Survey Subnational Program: First Release of Direct Subnational Estimates

This webinar provides an update on BJS’s subnational victimization program activities. It covers findings from BJS’s Criminal Victimization in the 22 Largest U.S. States, 2017–2019, the first release of subnational violent and property crime estimates from the National Crime Victimization Survey. 
 
It also presents the analysis conducted to validate the state-level estimates and it walks participants through the process to apply for access to the restricted-use data and highlight available resources for analyzing these data.
