• supervising employees at the GS-15 or equivalent level
• overseeing the annual budget formulation and execution and the management and monitoring of funds
• coordination of short- and long-term program plans
• analyzing and interpreting policies and regulations pertaining to organizational performance, management, and budget functions
• serving as the lead in developing strategies for planning and developing major BJS programs of national scope and impact.
